Everybody remembers Hunter for two reasons, #1 is because of his red hair and #2 is because they hear me yellling "Hunter No! Hunter stop! Hunter come here!" He loves girls and is the biggest flirt! All he has to do is flash his dimples and he's got you hooked!
Favorite Hobbies:
Hunter loves to watch cartoons, of course Barney is among his favorites! He also loves to travel, he doesn't care where we are going, he just like to trip!
Proudest Accomplishment:
Hunter, and his brother and sister, inspired and educated so many people all over the world. He was on the local and National TV shows, radio, and newspapers all over the country. He has taught not only us as parents, but people everywhere so much about life and, of course, MPS and I am so proud of him! He was his little brother's best friend and now comforts his sister and tries to play with her, even though she can't "play" anymore, he is always holding her hand.
MPS Heroes:
That would have to be Dr.Kurtzburg at Duke Medical Center. She was so wonderful with Hunter and his brother and sister (Tommy and Ciara). I even got a card in the mail a couple of days ago from her and she said that she is still trying to find something to help Ciara and Hunter. She has such a big heart and really cares about our children.
Words of Wisdom:
Cherish every second you have with your child!
Personal Diagnosis Experience:
Hunter's sister, Ciara, was diagnosed when she was 4 and Hunter was 1 1/2, I was pregnant with my third child, Tommy, at the time. Hunter wasn't talking so we suspected that he might has Sanfilippo also. So, when Tommy was born we had the boys tested and they both had Sanfilippo, by this time Hunter was 3 and Tommy was 2.
